What are terms and conditions?

Terms and conditions (also known as terms of use and terms of service, commonly abbreviated as TOS, ToU or T&C) are the legal agreements between you and your customer that wants to purchase from you. The person must agree to abide by the terms and conditions in order to purchase your product.

Why are the terms and conditions important?

The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) was put into effect on May 25, 2018. The GDPR will levy harsh fines against those who violate its privacy and security standards, with penalties reaching into the tens of millions of euros.

In many cases it is required for the customer to agree to your terms and conditions to purchase from you.
